António Ramalho, former box fighter and coach in Outurelo, organized the first intercontinental coup purely because of love he feels about the sport. In his gym, 40 athletes train every day, some of them to compete, others not even that. In common, they have what they learn: “Respect, discipline and helping the other”. The coach wants to “teach them the way”. The competition had 16 fights, with athletes from Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Angola, Mozambique, South Africa e Cape Verde. In the end, there are winner and losers. For António Ramalho, “dealing with disappointment and adversity also shapes your character. Boxe creates better and stronger men, prepared for life”.
